Bklyn Pickup Soccer is a weekly coed soccer group that plays year-round. We play every sunday afternoon on turf. Everyone is welcome to attend, and games tend to play on an intermediate level. This is a competitive group. Average age is 25 and everyone knows what they're doing. We don't care if you're the worst player on the field-everyone here would be the worst player in a lot of games-but this is not a casual, relaxed, or beginner friendly group.

It seems like there is a lack of meet up groups addressing the Riverdale, Bronx area, so I thought I'd start one for soccer. There are a lot of fields around here, so as long as this group gets members - we can make it happen. No charges. I would encourage you to rsvp. All ages, all levels welcome. Lastly, I'm thinking about Seton Park (Intersection of W232st and Independence Ave). Its a big field and finding space there doesn't seem like it would be a problem - I am open to other nearby areas.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that there are so little opportunities to play soccer in New York. This is a group for anyone who just wants to play some soccer and have some fun and get to know some people while we're at it. It's a great chance to get that cardio workout you've been looking for.
